  1. Q1. My Dharma list never stops if I start pondering on it :) But if I had to prioritize and pick one - Being kind and loving to all beings around me, is what I consider as my foremost dharma. The more I understand my own nature and how others too just like me, also respond based on their nature, the easier it has become for me to practice this. I resort to reading or chanting Bhagavad Gita when I face a challenge, or find it very hard to practice this in my life situations :)
Q2. I have pondered upon Bhagavan's assurance that one will reach the Supreme and not be reborn if one understands His nature through his birth and leelaa (actions). This is how I understand it - We are shaped by our thoughts. Our thoughts lead to our future actions. When one dwells on Lord Krishna's actions, His prowess: even how as an infant he is able to exhibit infinite power in killing all the evil asura-s; His compassion: how he loves all the Gopala-s and Gopis showing his infinite karunaa as a cowherd boy; compassionate to those who seek his guidance and counsel, whether it is Arjuna or Duryodhana, coming to the rescue of all those who sincerely seek him: Rukmini or Draupadi, and many more of His virtues, our mind dwells on these qualities of the supreme Lord. The more we understand and identify with His divine nature, the more we think and act that way, and with deepened faith to seek His help when we feel lost or challenged. Once one experiences this divine nature, why would one ever want to be reborn? He, She or They, will always want to identify with that Divine nature and not be limited in this body, mind and soul. So this is how I understand Krishna's assurance - Try to understand my Divine Nature, strive to identify with that Nature, and if you truly do, you will reach that.
Grateful for making me reflect on this. dhanyavādāḥ

  2. Beautifully contemplated on Avataaras Anjana'ji. The essence is Faith and Devotion. Complete and Unswerving Faith in our scriptures and total devotion to the Lord and his Leela's, unlocks the Hrudaya Granthi ( Avarana Shakti of Maya) and brings the oneness to supreme self; Resulting in Pure Awareness and Jivan Mukti /\ A Guru will appear and be the guiding force for the seeker.

  3. Q 2 - Supreme consciousness has no birth. It cannot be destroyed. It does not have any impurities and modifications. It also has no parts. Such a great truth which is unborn only appears to be born. With the help of Maya shakti Lord incarnates(avatara). He appears as one among us and plays his sport of life. Upon contemplation on this, a Jiva realizes that its essence is the same as Supreme Self. Body and the mind are just a notion. Space enclosed in a pot and the total space outside the pot are one and the same. Destruction of the pot will not make any difference to the space. When one realizes the highest truth of the essence this way, there is no rebirth.
