Saadhana for the week 3 & 4

Unless the teaching is recognized as sacred and eternal, the center within - which can receive it with immense devotion - will not open. Reflect upon the teaching and pen your thoughts.

  1. What is immense devotion?
Sharing a poem by one the Lord's devotees that has been filling me with peace today as I chant it over and over again: (my japa / ācāra for the day!)
    (श्रीकृष्णकर्णामृतम्)
A devotee is calling out to his dear Lord, saying you are the only relation I have, O Krishna, as I am trying to meditate and think about you, you swiftly disappear, aren't you the ocean of compassion? O Lord, you are a beauty to behold, when are you going to appear within the range of my vision?
My thoughts - I am too dull-witted to be a jñānī, get easily attached to my karma to be a karma-yogī, but a devotee I can definitely be! Let me strive in my own way to reach you, O Lord!
